AAPA President, Jeffrey Katz, Discusses NCCPA’s Proposed PANRE Changes

Jeffrey Katz, PA-C, DFAAPA, President of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) sat down with Dermcast host Martha Sikes, MS, RPh, PA-C, at the SDPA’s recent Annual Summer Dermatology Conference (2016) in Austin, Texas, to discuss the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants’ (NCCPA) proposed changes to the recertification requirements. Mr. Katz explains the AAPA’s position on the proposed changes and what actions they’ve taken to voice their concerns.
